Sisi's Treasures

Johann Strauss Concert Elisabeth "Sisi" von Wittelsbach, Empress consort of Austria and Queen of Hungary. The Vienna Imperial Palace (Hofburg) was the residence of the Habsburg dynasty for over 600 years. Visit the ceremonial rooms and residential apartments, used by the Emperor Franz Joseph and his beloved wife Sisi, to gain an insight in life at the Imperial Court. Numerous exhibits on display at the Sisi Museum will guide you through the many aspects of Sisi's fascinating personality. You can also access the Chamber of Court Silver, with its outstanding collection of imperial household goods and tableware.

Following your viewing of the Museum, make your way to the Café Restaurant Residenz, located next to the palace's main entrance, where a three course dinner will be served. After dinner, make your way to Schönbrunn Palace for an evening of classical music performed by the renowned Schönbrunn Palace Orchestra. The music of W. A. Mozart and Johann Strauss, accompanied by singers and dancers, will delight your eyes and ears alike.

Note 1: Concert venues change periodically and may be in the Great Gallery or the White Gold Room at the Schönbrunn Palace, or other concert halls in Vienna.
