			Vienna is a diverse and colourful place full of life; there are different things to see, places to go and stuff to do at different times of the year. Vienna in July can be very hot so seek refuge in the extensive gardens of Schönbrunn or in the Wienerwald Hills in the surroundings of the city. The museums, theatres and churches compete for the attention of ten thousands of tourists. The “ImPuls Tanz” is an international festival of dance, held in various locations all over Vienna; the core of the festival is held at the TanzQuartier in the MuseumsQuartier. Another big attraction is the “Kino unter Sternen”, an outdoor cinema in the Augarten park.

Life Ball at City Hall
Europe’s largest and most flamboyant charity event in the fight against AIDS. The opulent fashion show, which takes place before the ball at City Hall Square, is free and open to the public. Each year it attracts up to 40,000 spectators. (www.lifeball.org)

Prater - A Day for all the family
The most famous attraction of the Vienna Prater is the Wiener Riesenrad, the Giant Ferris Wheel. Since 1897, one is carried upwards at a leisurely pace. Today the Vienna Prater is a modern adventure world, offering Action and Fun with 250 different attractions.
